Dewdrops Kinder Coburg is a dedicated service for 3-6 year old children with Government funded 3 and 4 year old kinder programs.

We operate within a long day care setting which gives you the benefits of:

• extended hours
• continuation of service during school holidays
• all meals and snacks provided
• access to the child care subsidy (CCS) (if eligible)
• access to the free kinder subsidy (if eligible)

Keeping in line with the Victorian guidelines, your child can begin kinder at Dewdrops Coburg when they are 3 years old, provided they turn 3 by April 30th of that year.

Children under 3 years old are welcome to enquire at another Dewdrops Early Learning centre which will cater for children aged from 6 months. (include link?)

The great news is we provide everything your child will need throughout their day at kinder, so there is no need for you to pack lunches or drink bottles!

We love messy play and encourage families to pack a change of clothes, as well as a sunhat for warmer months and suitable clothing for cooler weather.

Our permanent educators include degree qualified Early Childhood Teachers (Kinder Teachers) and diploma qualified Educators, who work collaboratively to develop and deliver a rich and exciting kindergarten program for our children.

At Dewdrops we run an indoor/outdoor program throughout the year, which means the “classroom” extends from inside to outside whenever possible. Everyday activities like art and craft, group time, story time or meals are encouraged both indoors and outdoors.

To make things more fun, Dewdrops Kinder Coburg features an expansive outdoor playground, seating areas, tricycle tracks, sandpits, cubby house and garden beds, which all encourage a holistic learning environment for our children.

Outdoor learning is extended further with outings to Gilmour Park and other excursions into the community.

It’s never too early to get in touch and enquire about a position for your child, and if a position is available your child can start immediately. Alternatively, your child will be placed on our waitlist until a position becomes available or they reach the eligible age requirements.
